I’ve picked a couple of hotels nearby and some fantastic holiday parks for those looking for a longer stay or a mini-break with added entertainment and activities for the kids. Paultons Park can be easily reached from Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex – so I’ve included some great family-friendly UK staycation options – and the New Forest National Park is nearby there too. So here are the 10 best places to stay near Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World with kids:

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is one of the best places to stay near Paultons Park / Peppa Pig World as it’s just 20 minutes from the theme park. The park offers on-site amenities like indoor and outdoor swimming pools, soft play, bike hire, mini rovers, archery, arts & crafts, a playground, entertainment and even alpaca walks. The surrounding area is great for outdoor activities too, as the New Forest is just a few minutes from the park. For family-friendly days out, you’ll also find Moors Valley Country Park (with Go Ape) and the New Forest Water Park both within a 20 minute drive – perfect! Perfectly located between the coast and the New Forest, around a 30-35 minute drive from Paultons Park, Shorefield Country Park in Milford-on-Sea offers a brilliant mix of seaside and countryside fun. Families will love the indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds and evening entertainment – plus there’s a spa for the grown-ups. Accommodation ranges from caravans, to tree houses and luxury hot tub lodges, ideal for relaxing after a busy park day. You’re also just a short walk from the beach for a change of scenery. There are some other great family-friendly days out on offer nearby too – the holiday park is around 25 minutes from Beaulieu Motor Museum and 35 minutes from both Moors Valley Country Park and New Forest Wildlife Park. Holiday Inn Express Southampton-West is a brilliant choice for families wanting a hassle-free hotel stay close to Paultons Park. If you only want to stay for a night or two, this one is just 5 miles away from the park so it’s an easy 10 minute drive.  Rooms are modern and spacious with sofa beds for the kids and the all-you-can-eat breakfast (included in the price) is a big win before a busy day out. There’s an on-site restaurant with a kids’ menu, plus free Wi-Fi and parking, and it comes highly rated by guests. 4. Parkdean Resorts: Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset

Around 45 minutes away from Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World you’ll find Sandford Holiday Park – it’s not quite as near as some of the other sites but it’s a great place to stay and well worth the drive! The kids can enjoy the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, complete with a waterslide and splash play areas. There’s also high ropes, a VR area, crazy golf, bungee trampolines, archery, soft play, sports courts, pedal karts and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy – so there’s plenty to keep kids of all ages busy. Its proximity to the stunning Jurassic Coast makes it an ideal base – plus they have hot tub accommodation available too! For family-friendly days out, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are both around a 15 minute drive away. 5. Haven: Church Farm Holiday Village, Sussex

Haven Church Farm Holiday Village is a little further away but I had to include it as it’s a great option for a family holiday. This park is just over an hour’s drive from Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World but it’s a popular site near Bognor Regis, and it offers loads for the kids to do. This large Haven site has everything – indoor and outdoor pools (and waterslides!), golf, shows, soft play, archery, junior segways, a NERF training camp, sports, crafts and beach access. It’s a great option if you’re planning more than just a park day and want to make a week of it. You can also enjoy some other family days out nearby – a Butlins Bognor Regis day visit would be great fun, Chichester Watersports is just 15 minutes away and there are some great beaches locally too. 6: Park Holidays: Sandhills Holiday Park, Dorset

Nestled right by the beach in the charming seaside town of Christchurch, Sandhills Holiday Park is a brilliant choice for a family holiday with the kids in Dorset and it’s just a 35 minute drive from Paultons Park. The park’s got a lovely outdoor pool, a cosy clubhouse and a small play area for the little ones – just enough to keep everyone happy without the noisy hustle of bigger resorts. You’re just a stone’s throw from the beach, and with caravans and lodges to suit different budgets, it’s a fab base for a budget-friendly family getaway. Mill Rythe Coastal Village is a fantastic family-friendly holiday park on Hayling Island. Around a 45 minute drive away, it’s not as near to Paultons Park / Peppa Pig World as some of the other sites but it’s a lovely place to stay with the kids. The holiday park boasts an indoor swimming pool as well as a children’s splash play area (perfect for the summer months), a playground, craft activities and mini-archery. It’s an easy drive to Portsmouth and the New Forest, making it perfect for day trips without spending a fortune – pack up a picnic and choose between the beach or the countryside. If you’re after some more fun days out with the kids, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and New Forest Wildlife Park are both within an hour’s drive. If you just want to stay for one night, and you’re after somewhere really close to Paultons Park, Premier Inn Southampton West could be a good choice. The rooms are clean and comfy with family-friendly room options. There’s a Beefeater restaurant next door for easy dinners, and free parking takes the stress out of travelling with little ones. It’s a fuss-free base with all the essentials – we’ve stayed here when visiting before – it’s only 2 miles from the park so this one is just a 5-10 minute drive. The park offers its own private beach, ideal for water sports like paddle-boarding and kayaking. There’s an indoor swimming pool (with a waterslide), an outdoor pool, crazy golf, climbing, crafts, junior segways, a NERF training camp and nature activities – the kids will be spoilt for choice! Rockley Park’s proximity to Sandbanks Beach and the Jurassic Coast adds to its appeal, and there are loads of great days out nearby too.
