What’s included in the £59 Merlin deal?
The 5 London Attractions included:
With this offer, you can visit all five London Merlin Attractions for a fraction of the cost of individual tickets as well as bagging a free theme park day out. Each one offers a different experience, and the best part is that four of them are within walking distance of each other on the South Bank of the River Thames. Plus, all of the attractions are indoors so you can have fun whatever the weather. Here are the 5 attractions included with the London Merlin Attraction Pass Deal (and keep scrolling for the theme park options):
1. The London Eye
One of the most recognisable landmarks in London, The London Eye perches proudly beside the River Thames. This giant observation wheel offers incredible 360° views across the capital. As you slowly ascend in one of the enclosed glass capsules, you’ll spot major sights like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Each full rotation takes around 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to take photos and spot the landmarks with the kids. Find out more in my London Eye Family Guide.
2. Shrek’s Adventure – London
Located just next door to the London Eye and the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, Shrek’s Adventure is an interactive storytelling attraction that immerses little ones in the magical world of Shrek and his friends. Recommended for kids under 10 years old, the indoor experience is full of fun with live shows and hilarious characters like Donkey and Princess Fiona. The little ones can join in on the adventure, explore various themed rooms and meet the beloved characters along the way. For more information, click here to head to the Shrek’s Adventure website.
3. The London Dungeon
For families with older children or teenagers who love a good scare, The London Dungeon is a thrilling way to explore the darker side of the city’s history. This experience isn’t your average museum – it’s a full-blown theatrical performance with live actors, jump scares, special effects and there’s even a ride thrown in too. You’ll journey through plague-ridden streets, encounter Sweeney Todd and meet the infamous Jack the Ripper. For all the details, click here to head to The London Dungeon website.
4. SEA LIFE London Aquarium
SEA LIFE London is a wonderfully immersive aquarium that brings the underwater world to life. It’s home to over 500 species from across the globe – from graceful rays and curious sea turtles to colourful tropical fish and jaw-dropping sharks. The layout guides you through different themed zones starting with the Shark Walk and taking you on a journey through coral reefs, rainforest rivers and deep ocean tunnels. There are also interactive rock pools and a VR room so it’s a great option for rainy-day fun. Find out more about our visit in my SEA LIFE London Aquarium Review.
5. Madame Tussauds London
A little further afield, Madame Tussauds London is the original home of waxwork wonders. From posing with Hollywood stars, to standing alongside historical figures, the attention to detail is genuinely impressive. One of the highlights is the 4D Marvel cinema experience, as well as the ‘Spirit of London’ ride which takes you through the city’s history in a black cab-themed carriage. Click here to find out more on the Madame Tussauds website.
The FREE theme parks included:
On top of the London attractions, you’ll also get a free theme park ticket with this fabulous deal so you can have yet another fun day out with the kids. This is what really makes the offer stand out, especially if you’re already planning a UK day out or short break. With the London Merlin 5-Attraction Pass Deal you can choose from these 3 theme parks:
1. Chessington World of Adventures (Surrey)
Ideal for families with younger children, Chessington combines theme park rides with a zoo and SEA LIFE centre. There’s a wide mix of rides from the jungle-themed Zufari to the fun Room on the Broom attraction. There are lots of rollercoasters for pre-teens too, I think Chessington World of Adventures is a great option for kids around 13 and under. We had an awesome time so check out my Chessington World of Adventures Guide. Or, if you fancy a short break, my Chessington Resort Guide has all the details.
Thorpe Park Resort (Surrey)
Geared towards teens and adults, Thorpe Park is a haven for adrenaline junkies. With rides like Stealth, Saw and Colossus, it’s one of the most intense parks in the UK. It also hosts popular seasonal events and boasts some fabulous water rides (my favourite part!) so bring some spare clothes and prepare to get absolutely drenched! 😂 My children, 12 and 13, absolutely loved our day at Thorpe Park – it’s definitely one of their favourite places for a day out! For more info, check out my Thorpe Park Review & Guide.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort (Berkshire)
A dream day out for LEGO-loving kids! With mini lands, building workshops, interactive rides and live shows, LEGOLAND Windsor is perfect for kids from toddler age through until about 10 years old. This one is the ultimate day out for families with little ones, with tamer attractions and rides best suited to the smallest of visitors. We took our two when they were younger and they had a fabulous time!
Where are the London Merlin Attractions located and how do I get there?
Four of these attractions – SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Eye, Shrek’s Adventure and The London Dungeon – are conveniently clustered together on the South Bank of the river Thames. This proximity allows families to plan multiple visits in a single day without extensive travel and it’s really easy to reach via public transport. The closest station is Waterloo, which is just a five minute walk away and served by the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo & City lines. If you’re coming from other directions, Westminster Station across the bridge is also nearby – giving you a scenic walk over the Thames. Plus Embankment and Charing Cross are also within a 10 minute walk.

Madame Tussauds is the only London Merlin Attraction that isn’t located on the South Bank – it’s located approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) away in Marylebone. Travelling between the South Bank attractions and Madame Tussauds is straightforward via the London Underground – from Waterloo Station take the Bakerloo line northbound directly to Baker Street Station. The journey lasts about 10 minutes, followed by a brief walk to Madame Tussauds. Kids age 10 and under travel for free on the London Underground.
Is the Merlin £59 deal worth it?
For most families, yes, the London Merlin 5-Attraction Pass Deal is really good value for money and totally worth it – here’s why:
- You’re getting 5 major attractions for less than the price of 2.
- The free theme park ticket adds serious extra value.
- It’s flexible enough to spread visits across multiple days.
- If you’re visiting London with kids, attractions like SEA LIFE, Shrek’s Adventure and the London Eye are usually high on the list anyway, so bundling them like this just makes sense.

Final thoughts
If you’re already thinking about visiting the Merlin London attractions this spring, this deal is a really easy way to save money and the pass offers great value. Getting five attractions for £59 is good on its own, but the free theme park ticket makes it even more worthwhile, especially for families looking to make the most of a few days out. Just keep in mind that the offer is only running until 5 May, so it’s not one to sit on for too long. We’re big fans of the Merlin attractions so take a look around the blog for more information in my guides and reviews. Here are the links you’ll need again to get started – have a great time!
