I’ve been hunting for the best Eurocamp Resorts near Roscoff Port – Northern France has loads of fabulous spots for family fun without the long drive! I’ve found 12 brilliant options in Brittany and Picardy – and they’re all within a 2.5 hour drive of Roscoff Port – with a couple just 90 minutes away! So, if you’re looking for a getaway in France without the long road trip, this article is a great place to start. For an action-packed Eurocamp getaway near Roscoff Port, the popular Domaine des Ormes resort (in Northern Brittany) is a fabulous option just 2 hours and 20 minutes away. This lively park is one of the best Eurocamp resorts for an out-of-season holiday too, with a fantastic indoor pool complex, and it offers so many kids’ activities that it’s like a mini adventure park. It boasts everything from horse riding, to treetop adventures, a golf course, soft play, pedalos, sports, kids’ clubs, outdoor swimming pools and more! With so many activities on-site, Mont Saint Michel just a 30 minute drive away and the charming town of Dol-de-Bretagne nearby, it’s a great base for a fun-filled holiday. 2. Eurocamp: Le Kervilor, Southern Brittany
If you prefer a smaller campsite, Le Kervilor is a fabulous option for a Eurocamp holiday near Roscoff Port – it’s around a 2.5 hour drive. The pool with waterslides will keep the kids busy for hours and you can even get your breakfast delivered to your decking! The site boasts crazy golf, a kids’ club, inflatables, sports and bike hire – so you can enjoy exploring the Brittany coastline. The park is near to beautiful beaches, as well as the historic town of Carnac, and the kids will love watching the yachts at La Trinité-sur-Me. If you fancy a fun day out, Kingoland Amusement Park is about a 45 minute drive and, for those with older kids (14+), the segway tours in Carnac look like great fun! 3. Eurocamp: Domaine de Drancourt, Picardy
Just 2.5 hours from Roscoff Port, and one of the best Eurocamp resorts for history lovers, Domaine de Drancourt (in Picardy) is located near to the WW1 battlefields. With a brand new pool complex added in 2025 (with both indoor and outdoor swimming options), waterslides, play areas, mini-golf and a kids’ club for little ones there’s plenty to do. You’ll also want to head to Saint‑Valéry sur Somme – there you can ride a steam train, seal watch over the bay and wander the medieval streets. For your little thrill-seekers, Parc Bagatelle amusement park is just 40 minutes away – this one is in a great location for some fabulous family days out. 4. Eurocamp: La Grande Métairie, Southern Brittany
If you’re on the hunt for a 5 star Eurocamp resort near Roscoff then La Grande Métairie, in Southern Brittany, is a fabulous option around a 2.5 hour drive from the port. The gorgeous pool complex, with waterslides, is perfect for a sunny day and there’s a covered pool for any cooler weather. The kids can enjoy the on-site adventure course and zip lines, sports, kids’ clubs, the mini farm, mini golf, pony rides and even scuba lessons! This one has so much on offer and it’s only a short drive to the beach. When it comes to days out, Forêt Adrénaline (treetop course), the Gulf of Morbihan Catamaran Boat Ride and the lovely town of Carnac are all just a stone’s throw away. 6. Eurocamp: Le Port de Plaisance, Northern Brittany
5 star campsite Le Port de Plaisance, in Northern Brittany, is one of the most popular Eurocamp resorts near Roscoff – it’s just a 2 hour drive from the port. Well rated on TripAdvisor, the park boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming pools with waterslides, a lazy river and a children’s play pool. There are kids’ clubs available for little ones aged 5 through to teens, loads of sports, play areas (including a high ropes adventure course) and you can hire bikes too. For the adults, there are wellness treatments available. The site is only 1km from the town of Bénodet if you want to do some exploring, enjoy a beach day or take part in water sports. 7. Eurocamp: Le Mané Guernehué, Southern Brittany
Another 5 star site in Brittany, Le Mané Guernehué is one of the best Eurocamp resorts for waterslide holidays near Roscoff Port – it’s around a 2.5 hour drive. We’re heading here this summer and the kids can’t wait! With indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river and multiple waterslides – the aquatic park will keep the kids busy all day. This campsite offers loads of activities including kids’ clubs for little ones through to late teens, sports, a tree-top adventure course, direct lake access, mini‑golf, pony rides and all sorts! The peaceful forest setting, local sandy beaches and the charming medieval towns of Vannes and Auray are perfect for days out nearby. This one is just 20 metres from Pentrez beach and a short distance from the small resort of Saint-Nic with a long stretch of sand and a water sports centre. Just 90 minutes from the port, set in the grounds of a former French château in Southern Brittany, Orangerie De Lanniron is a popular Eurocamp resort near Roscoff. The beautiful site has a fabulous pool complex with slides for the kids. It boasts loads of activities for the whole family including: a 9 hole golf course, kids’ clubs, sports, fishing, play areas, karting, water sports, inflatables, an adventure course and a mini farm. There’s so much to do, you’ll have no time to get bored at this one! If you want to do some exploring in the local area, the resort is near the historic city of Quimper and just a short drive from Bénodet beach. 10. Eurocamp: Pommeraie de l’Océan, Southern Brittany
Just under a 2 hour drive from the port, Pommeraie de l’Océan (in Brittany) is one of the best Eurocamp resorts near Roscoff for families with mixed age children. The fabulous swimming complex, with waterslides and a toddler play pool, is perfect for the warmer weather and the kids can enjoy water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding too. Les Menhirs is a brilliant Eurocamp pick for a coastal getaway just a 2.5 hour drive from Roscoff Port – this resort is near one of the best beaches in Brittany. Morbihan is well known for its gorgeous beaches, so Les Jardins du Morbihan is another great option for a getaway in Brittany – this site is around 2.5 hours from Roscoff Port. The resort has several swimming pools, including two toddler play pools, and some waterslides for the older kids. For the adults, the spa might appeal with wellness treatments and facilities on offer if you need a break from the kids. Getting to Roscoff from the UK by ferry
The ferry crossing from the UK to Roscoff is one of the most relaxed ways to start a family road trip to Brittany, especially if you are travelling with kids, luggage and a packed car. Sailings are operated by Brittany Ferries from ports like Plymouth, taking around 6-7 hours. You can book cabins for overnight sailings, enjoy proper meals onboard and let little ones stretch their legs rather than being stuck in car seats for hours. Arriving into Roscoff drops you straight into northern Brittany, making it ideal for Eurocamp sites and family-friendly destinations without the long French motorway slog.
