1. Eurocamp: Le Chêne Gris

Drive Time from Calais: 3 hours

Le Chêne Gris is one of the closest Eurocamp holiday parks to Disneyland Paris – taking only 25 minutes by car. 2. Eurocamp: Paris-Est

Distance from Paris-Est to Disneyland Paris: Around a 30 minute drive.
Drive Time from Calais: 3 hours
Distance from Nearest Airport: Charles de Gaulle Airport – around a 45 minute drive.

Paris-Est is a well-located campsite for families looking to stay near to both Disneyland Paris and central Paris (it’s a 20 minute drive from the city) so if you’re looking to mix sightseeing with Disney fun for the kids it’s in a good spot. 3. Eurocamp: La Croix du Vieux Pont

One of the most popular Eurocamp resorts, La Croix du Vieux Pont offers a fantastic summer holiday base. Many families combine a stay here with fun at Disneyland Paris though it’s not as near as some of the other holiday parks. The largest of the four Eurocamp parks near Paris, it boasts an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool complex, fishing lakes, waterslides, kids’ clubs, sports, playgrounds and even an artificial beach by the river. 4. Eurocamp: Country Park

How many days at Disneyland Paris (and is it worth staying off-site?)

If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris as part of a wider Paris trip, 2 days is the sweet spot. This gives you enough time to cover both parks without rushing, revisit your favourite rides and still enjoy the shows and parades. Having said that, you can do it in 1 day – we still had a great time (check out my itinerary) but it will feel busy and it might be more challenging in peak seasons or with younger kids. Staying off-site, like at a nearby Eurocamp park, can be a great way to keep costs down, especially for families. You’ll usually get more space, access to facilities like pools and playgrounds, and a much lower price than Disney hotels. If you’d like a ‘proper holiday’ alongside your Disney adventure then the resorts work really well. The trade-off is travel time, so it’s worth planning your days carefully to make the most of your time in the parks.

Getting to Disneyland Paris: Shuttle & driving tips

Most Eurocamp parks near Disneyland Paris don’t offer regular shuttle buses, so you’ll usually be relying on a car or public transport. If you’re driving, the journey is straightforward with plenty of parking available at Disneyland Paris (just factor in the daily parking fee). If you’re not driving, you’ll probably need to take a bus or taxi to a train station, then take the RER A line into Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy (right at the park entrance). One exception is La Croix du Vieux Pont, which offers a limited shuttle service, but this doesn’t run daily and needs to be booked in advance, so it’s best treated as a bonus rather than something to rely on. Travelling to Paris from the UK

What’s the cheapest way to travel to Paris? The ferry from Dover to Calais will likely be the cheapest and easiest option, followed by a straightforward three hour drive to Paris. For a speedier trip, you could travel on Le Shuttle – Folkestone to Calais takes around 30 minutes but it’s a little pricier.
Which Paris airport is best? Charles de Gaulle Airport is the closest airport to all 4 of the Eurocamp resorts near Disneyland Paris. The flight time from the UK to Paris is just over an hour from London, and closer to 2 hours if you’re flying from Scotland.
How can I get to Paris by train from the UK? Travelling by train eliminates airport waiting times, and things like luggage costs, so taking the Eurostar to Paris can be a great option if you can find some affordable tickets. The Eurostar from London to Paris takes around 2.5 hours.
