1. Eurocamp: Le Chêne Gris

Best For: A budget-friendly self-catering stay with good transport links to Paris.
Proximity from Le Chêne Gris to Paris City Centre: 50 minute drive or train from Faremoutiers – Pommeuse.
Distance to Disneyland Paris: Approximately a 25 minute drive.
Drive Time from Calais: 3 hours
Distance from Nearest Airport: Charles de Gaulle Airport – around a 45 minute drive.

Le Chêne Gris is just under an hour’s drive from central Paris, or you can hop on a train from Faremoutiers – Pommeuse Station which is only a 5 minute taxi-ride from the campsite. It’s also one of the closest Eurocamp resorts to Disneyland Paris – taking only 25 minutes by car. This resort offers the best of both worlds: you can enjoy some city sightseeing with the kids and then come back to this peaceful village campsite for some calm after a day of adventures. 2. Eurocamp: Paris-Est

Best For: Budget-friendly self-catering stays and easy city visits without a car.
Proximity from La Croix du Vieux Pont to Paris City Centre: A 20 minute drive or catch the train nearby.
Distance to Disneyland Paris: Around a 30 minute drive.
Drive Time from Calais: 3 hours
Distance from Nearest Airport: Charles de Gaulle Airport – around a 45 minute drive.

If you want to be as near as possible to the action, Camping Paris-Est is just a 20 minute drive from Paris so it’s really well-located for a city break with the kids. Alternatively, you can walk to Joinville-le-Pont (RER A) station or Nogent-sur-Marne (RER A) station to catch the train into the city if you’re travelling without a car. It’s also well-located for day trips to Disneyland Paris so if you’re looking to mix sightseeing with Disney fun for the kids it’s in a good spot. While the facilities here are more basic compared to other Eurocamp sites, it does have a playground, a bar and a small shop. 3. Eurocamp: La Croix du Vieux Pont

Best For: A full family summer getaway near to Paris and self-catering holidays.
Proximity from La Croix du Vieux Pont to Paris City Centre: An 80 minute drive.
Distance to Disneyland Paris: Around a 70 minute drive.
Drive Time from Calais: 3 hours

Though it’s not as near to central Paris as some of the other Eurocamp resorts, La Croix du Vieux Pont offers a fantastic summer holiday base and it’s one of the most popular parks in France. Many families combine a stay here with city sightseeing and fun at Disneyland Paris.
