It’s a great option if you’re seeking a sustainable, skin-friendly deodorant for the whole family – my kids use it too and it’s so effective – even after dance classes and football lessons they still smell great despite heading into their teenage years! Do Wild deodorants actually work?

We love the Wild products – our bathroom is full of the soaps and body washes, and we travel a lot so we can’t do without the deodorants. (I’ve got half of our extended family hooked on them as well! 😂) Finding deodorants that actually work when you’re hot and sweaty on your travels, or for teenagers who love sports, is such a lifesaver and Wild is our favourite brand – we’ve used their deodorants religiously for a few years now. They smell absolutely incredible too!

Do Wild only sell deodorant?

As I mentioned above, Wild Deodorant have added loads of other products to their brand, which is fantastic as I’m a bit obsessed about avoiding chemicals in products where possible. Lola loves the Love Potion lip balm, which tastes like strawberries, and they sell things like body wash, soaps and hand wash too. My husband and son love the bars of soap, but my daughter and I both prefer a body wash and we adore the Wild ones – just like the deodorants the scents are so good! I’m still loyal to my trusty Faith in Nature shampoo and conditioner, so I haven’t tried the Wild shampoo bars yet, but my husband uses them religiously at home and when we travel. They also have a brilliant exfoliator bar as well!

You can get different soap dispensers to use with the hand / body washes, which is awesome as you can match your bathroom colour scheme – the pinky-red ombre effect one is my favourite as we’ve got a pink theme in the main bathroom so it matches perfectly. They frequently change the dispensers too, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re looking for a certain aesthetic, we’ve got a really cute Emma Bridgewater spotty one in the little loo! I keep one in the shower too as I find the kids waste less of the products with a dispenser, rather than pouring it from the bottle and using half a pot at a time! 😂

How do I refill my Wild Deodorant – how does it work?

To refill your Wild Deodorant, simply spin the bottom of the case to wind it all the way down. Then, squeeze the side buttons and pull the base of the case downwards until the inner cartridge comes out. You can then remove the previous packaging, and insert your new deodorant refill. (The packaging can go into the recycling bin!) Pop it back together and you’ll be ready to go again. Easy peasy!

Which Wild Deodorant scent is best for women?

Loads of the Wild Deodorant fragrances work well as unisex options – but there are a few scents that are particularly great for women. Their special edition ‘Love Potion’ scent smells amazing like strawberries – such a fruity smell – as does the Cherry Blossom. They actually sent me some to try, with their new heart deodorant cases, and I’m just relieved that they sent two because my daughter stole one of the heart cases immediately! 😂 Lola’s favourite Wild Deodorant is Coconut and Vanilla, which I think is a fab scent for women, and Jasmine and Mandarin Blossom is great if you love a floral scent. We all fought over the Alice in Wonderland special edition scents too – they smelled divine! I love the Fresh Cotton and Sea Salt scent best – I think it resembles a fresh soapy smell – my son actually really likes this one too and I think it works well for men and women.

Which Wild Deodorant scent is best for men?

As I mentioned above, Fresh Cotton and Sea Salt smells amazing and I think it’s a brilliant option for men or women – my husband and son both really like that scent and it’s not particularly feminine. Another favourite of theirs is Sandalwood & Patchouli – I think the earthy sandalwood undertones work well for a deodorant for men. And, Thunderstorm also smells delicious – it did disappear for a while (as it was a limited edition scent) but it’s reappeared back on the website recently so my husband is delighted – he’s stocked up on a few refills of that one just in case it doesn’t stick around as it’s one of his favourites. (It’s always the way when you like something isn’t it!) For the soaps, the Amber and Oud has a lovely masculine smell.

Is Wild Deodorant good for kids?

There aren’t any special products for kids, but because Wild Deodorant is a natural product it’s safe for kids to use too. When my son started going through puberty the ‘normal’ deodorant I grabbed from the supermarket, as a temporary fix, didn’t work for him at all. So, we ordered in some Wild products and all got hooked on them pretty quickly – they work so well and it’s good to know that we’re avoiding unnecessary chemicals on the kids’ skin. Which are the best products for travel – can Wild Deodorant go in my hand luggage?

The Wild Deodorants are brilliant for travelling because they aren’t restricted like liquid based products, so they can go into your hand luggage, and the refills are small if you want to pack an extra one if you’ll be away for a while. The Wild mini travel deodorant sticks are brilliant too – they’re great for short trips, taking up hardly any space in your hand luggage or handbag, and I always chuck one in our swimming bag for beach and pool days. There was a heat wave on our recent holiday in France so I took one everywhere just in case – especially as the kids are older now so they can get a bit sweaty. It’s so handy to be able to pop a bit more on after we’ve been swimming.

As well as having special edition scents, Wild also have loads of different deodorant cases which is so handy if the whole family use them so that you can tell whose is whose. They change them frequently and they’ve had some really cool deodorant cases lately – I gave my mum the gorgeous Cath Kidston floral case, and the Emma Bridgewater bee case is super cute too! We’ve got all sorts in our bathroom cabinet – the latest being the hot pink case from the Chupa Chups collaboration. The scents that came with this lot are really unique too – Lola loves the cola scented deodorant – they actually do smell like Chupa Chup lollies! Though the real star of that collab is the lip balm so that you can actually taste the yummy flavours. I have to mention the new groovy Spongebob case too – my son thinks it’s brilliant! 😂

Do Wild have a roll on deodorant?

Yes! Wild have just released a NEW roll on deodorant – I’m absolutely loving it and the gorgeous Emma Bridgewater bee case too! The scents are still the usual favourites, but they come in a pot in liquid form, mine is currently ‘fresh cotton and sea salt’ which is my go to scent! Simply unscrew the lid on the refill pot, remove the lid from the case, pop it inside and put the lid back on. When you’re ready to use it, screw the lid on and off.
