We had a brilliant time on our last visit to Wales – there are loads of things to do with the kids (it’s home to some super family attractions) and you’ve got beach days and the countryside to explore at every turn. 1. Parkdean Resorts: Trecco Bay Holiday Park

One of the best family-friendly holiday parks in Wales, Parkdean Resorts Trecco Bay is one of their largest sites – it’s really popular for getaways with the kids in South Wales. Boasting direct access to Trecco Bay Beach, a stunning Blue Flag-awarded sandy shore, this park is perfect for beach lovers. It features a big indoor swimming pool with slides, as well as activities including: an adventure playground, an outdoor splash zone, clip & climb, high ropes, bowling, arcades, soft play, archery, VR, bouncy castles, hoverboards, pedal karts and more! It’s a great option for a summer getaway with a swimming pool with a retractable roof, and the beautiful sandy beach is just a short walk away – there are regular dolphin sightings in the bay throughout the warmer months. The park boasts a children’s play area, crazy golf and family entertainment during peak season. There are some great days out on your doorstep with pretty coastal villages, wildlife boat trips and scenic walks nearby.
