Garlic butter can be made in seconds and it’s cheaper to make your own than buying pre-bought. As long as you have garlic in the house it can be made as and when you need it. If you’re out of fresh garlic, garlic powder/granules can be used too – use ¼ tsp to replace each garlic clove.
A knob of this is great on fish, potatoes or to make your own garlic bread. To make life simple, you can make this in larger batches and freeze until needed in small tubs.
Ingredients
70g butter
2 garlic cloves or ½ tsp garlic powder
Dash of olive oil
Sprinkle of dried parsley
Method
Throw the butter and garlic cloves (or powder) into the blender with a dash of olive oil and blend for a few seconds until smooth. Then add a sprinkle of dried parsley and use for whatever dish you are creating.
