Diary of a Frugal Mum

London baby!

Friday 12th April 2019

Dear Frugal Mums,

We took the children to London for the day today. We drove up to Greenwich as the train is so dear, and once you get on public transport in London the children travel for free. We had a whistle stop tour of the Natural History Museum as the kids were only interested in seeing the dinosaurs really. Then we had a quick picnic and went to the Science Museum to have a wander round – both are free which was good given the attention span of our two! 😉

We decided to book a boat tour along the Thames to save their little legs and see London from the comfort of a seat! We got the tickets on Groupon just before we boarded, and it meant we travelled for under £25 for us all. It was Lola’s first time in London, so she was excited to explore after learning about the Great Fire of London at school. The tour guide was hilarious which made it really good fun. We did a little outside on the top deck before moving indoors as it got a bit chilly and started to rain.

There is such a lot to do in London, so I am sure we will go again with the little ones.

Nat x
