Quick, cheap and easy gluten-free garlic tortillas!

This is a firm favourite in our house, and the kids can’t get enough of it! I never buy garlic bread anymore, as you can’t beat these garlic tortillas for taste and cost! It’s a great way to use up hard/stale wraps too. This will generously serve a family of four to accompany pasta or whatever you fancy – just make more if need be.

You could use the garlic butter with stale bread, rolls or part-bake baguettes too.

If you’re out of fresh garlic, garlic powder/granules can be used instead – use ¼ tsp to replace each garlic clove. And, to make life really simple, you can make the garlic butter in larger batches and freeze until needed in small tubs.

 

Ingredients

3 gluten-free sandwich wraps cut into triangles

70g butter

2 garlic cloves or ½ tsp garlic powder

Dash of olive oil

Sprinkle of dried parsley

 

Method

Preheat the oven to 240°C / Fan 220°C / Gas 9.

Get a large baking tray and lay out the tortilla triangles – for our family of four, I use 3 wraps each cut into 6 triangles.

Throw the butter and garlic cloves into the blender with a dash of olive oil and blend for a few seconds until smooth. Then simply spread the garlic butter onto the tortillas, and sprinkle with parsley.

Bake for a few minutes (more if you like them crunchy) and that’s it – so cheap and simple. 😀
