Drinks, Lockdown: Fun at Home, Supermarket Savings

Delicious, simple DIY cocktails for the perfect BBQ or summer staycation!

Staying in is the new going out! 😉 So why not make BBQ season (or your staycation at home) a little more fun, with these super simple, summer cocktails…

Blue Lagoon

  • Mix of ice cubes/ crushed ice
  • 25ml blue curaçao
  • 50ml vodka
  • 150ml lemonade
  • Lemon garnish

Fill a tall glass with ice, then add the vodka and lemonade and mix well. Finish by drizzling the blue curaçao on top and adding a lemon garnish.

 


Singapore Sling

•  25ml of gin
•  25ml of cherry brandy
•  50ml of pineapple juice
•  10ml of benedictine
•  10ml of grenadine
•  10ml of cointreau
•  Soda water

Mix everything besides the soda, then pour into a glass with ice and top up with the soda water.

 


Long Island Iced Tea

•  25ml of light rum
•  25ml of vodka
•  25ml of gin
•  25ml of tequila
•  25ml of lime juice
•  Coke

Mix the juice and booze together, pour into a glass with ice and then top up with coke.

 


Mojito

•  Half a lime (cut into 4 pieces)
•  5 fresh mint leaves
•  Tablespoon of sugar
•  50ml golden rum
•  Soda water
•  Handful of strawberries or raspberries

 Put the lime, mint leaves, sugar and berries into a glass and mash them together. Then add the rum, top up with soda water and stir.

 


Sex on the Beach

•  200ml of cranberry juice
•  100ml of orange juice
•  75ml of vodka
•  75ml of peach schnapps

Just mix together and serve over ice.

 


Pina Colada

•  50ml of white rum
•  25ml of coconut cream
•  25ml of single cream
•  200ml of pineapple juice

Just mix together and serve over ice.

 


Woo Woo

•  25ml of peach schnapps
•  25ml of vodka
•  50ml of cranberry juice

This one is so simple, just mix together and enjoy.

 


Tequila Sunrise

•  50ml of tequila
•  25ml of grenadine
•  175ml of orange juice

Mix the tequila and orange juice, then pour into a glass with ice. Finally, slowly pour in the grenadine so it settles at the bottom of the glass.
